Enjoy this 3.2-km loop trail near of Norfolk Treherne, Manitoba. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 37 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Treherne Aquatic Centre is situated near the Cottonwood Campground. The new (2006) Junior Olympic size heated pool, with beach front entry, lazy river and mushroom sprinkler are open for public swimming afternoons and evenings during the summer months. Swimming lessons are available. The pool closes usually before the end of August. Phone 204-723-2150.

Cain, was the proud builder of a series of glass bottle structures located on his farm just north of town. It's been several years now since the whole adventure began, and visitors still come from far and wide to visit. In 2007 these structures were moved into Treherne to the corner park at Railway Avenue and Alexander Street.

Located on Vanzile Street in Treherne, the Second Chance Car Museum is Norfolk Treherne's hidden gem. Established in 2019, the building is 25,000 square feet and is capable of holding over 130 cars and is usually full. The cars currently being stored range from years 1918 to 2018. This museum is every car enthusiasts dream and a must to see for all.

The Treherne Museum offers you a marvelous variety of objects from early life in the area. The museum was left to the Town of Treherne by the late George Alexander (Sandy) Matchett in 1976 and was officially opened to the public in the summer of 1978. One of the largest gun collections in Western Canada!

Boyne Valley Trail

The trail consists of a 2.5 km pathway in Treherne and a 1.5 km nature trail in the Boyne Valley on the east side of Treherne between highway No. 2 and the CPR line. The urban trail utilizes existing sidewalks while the nature trail is part grass and part covered with crushed stone. Two 80 ft bridges, one covered, cross the Boyne River.
